1. Each first initial sign-in will be in person in Casper.
2. The out-of-work list will be open to applicants for registration during the regular business hours at the office of Local Union #322, IBEW, 691 English Drive, Casper, Wyoming, which are 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday excluding Holidays.
3. Applicants shall sign the Out-of-Work list in the appropriate book for which they are qualified as defined by Article V-Referral Procedure of the inside Agreements. Anyone desiring to sign the Out-of-Work list shall present:
- Current IBEW Official Dues Receipt
- Nonmembers - Verifiable documentation of qualifications
- Applicable Licenses
- Termination form (if that person has been working in the Jurisdiction of Local Union 322.)
4. Fax sign in, option to #3 above. When terminated within the Jurisdiction of Local 322, from an employer who is signatory with Local Union #322, a person has five (5) business days after the date on the termination; to fax to this office, during regular hours, a request to be placed on the Out-of-Work list. (Fax # 307 235-5028) Items on this fax must include: Name, Address, Phone number, Local Union number, Card number, Social Security number, Wyoming State License number and Classification. Also a copy of your current dues receipt (as applicable) and a termination slip.
When terminated from an employer outside Local Union #322's Jurisdiction or past the five (5) business days allowed when terminated from a signatory employer, a person must sign the Out-of-Work list in person during normal business hours.
5. An applicant who has registered on the Out-of-Work list must renew that application during the last 5 working days and through the first working day of the following month or he will be removed from the list. Failure to resign, applicants may fax in their resign before the end of that month. Applicants will be placed on the bottom of the Out-of-Work List. Renewal may be in person, mail, fax or E-mail. Mail renewal must be received on regular business days at the office of Local Union #322, 691 English Drive, Casper, Wyoming 82601. All renewals must include the following information:
(1) Name of applicant (2) Classification (3) Card number (4) Book number (1,2,3,4) (5) Current phone number. (6) Copy of current dues receipt (as applicable.)
6. A short call book
You must designate if you want to be on the short call book. Fourteen consecutive calendar days will constitute a short call. These calls cannot be extended for any reason. An applicant who is hired and who receives, through no fault of his/her own, work of fourteen (14) calendar days or less shall upon re-registration be restored to his/her appropriate place within his/her group.
A person will roll to the bottom of the short call book if he accepts a short call. He will not be eligible for a regular call until terminated from a short call.
The Business Manager shall have full discretion to secure applicants off the short call book without going through the procedure below for short notice or emergency natured calls.
7. All job calls that are placed by contractors during the day will be recorded on the phone answering machine (265-1170) in the Casper calling area, toll free (800) 953-1170 outside Casper Wy., from 5:30 PM that day through 8:00 AM the following morning. Applicants who are willing to accept employment on these jobs must notify the hall either in person or by telephone (265-1060), (800-953-1170) between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM on the working day following the call, in order to be eligible for dispatch. Job referrals will be offered to applicants beginning promptly at 8:30 AM in the order of their place on the Out-of-Work list.
Clearances may be received in person (at the hall) or they will be mailed directly to the contractor or his representative.
