Most Jobs require Pre-Employment drug testing -Do not waste our time or yours if this could be a problem.
Initial Sign In
Workers can sign in person or use the sign and resign link on IBEW 322 website.
After a worker fills out and submits an initial sign on of the out of work list, they shall provide the following to office@ibew322.org
- Current IBEW dues receipt
- Termination form from their last employer
- Travelers will need current travel letter (introduction letter from their hall)
- Any applicable Licenses or certifications
- Non-members-Verifiable documentation of qualifications
Outside construction without verification of your term slip, current dues receipt, and/or certifications applicants will be placed on the groundman book 4 list.
Applicants shall be assigned to the highest priority group for which they qualify within the
appropriate classification(s) and placed on the appropriate list(s) in chronological order
determined by the date and time of original registration.
An applicant who has registered on the out-of-work list must resign between the 10th and the 16th of each month Failure to reregister between the 10th and the 16th of each month worker shall cause removal from the “List(s)” at the start of the 17th business day. If removed, an applicant’s original list position shall be forfeited. and a new, original, registration will be required to once again be considered an applicant for employment.
All applicants will be added to the short call book.
Dispatch Procedure.
Inside – all calls will be posted to the job calls page on the website. Any applicant desiring to take a call shall bid on job from the job calls page between 5:00 pm and 8:00 am and after 8:30 am in the morning the union hall will notify the successful applicants.

Normal dispatch hours shall be between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on regular
business days. Applicants for employment shall be responsible to make themselves
available for job assignments during these hours.
If there is no response from applicant at the registered number and a voice message may be
left, the referral agent will wait for a return call for 15 minutes. If the applicant does not
respond they will be skipped over and the next individual that bid on the job call will be contacted for job referral.
An applicant who accepts a call but fails to report to that job as scheduled will be removed
from the “out of work list” and will not resign until cleared to do so by the Business Manager.
The Business Manager is responsible for filling calls in a timely manner as needed. In an emergency, referrals can be issued outside of normal hours using all available means to fill job calls.
